ABSTRACT
The article examines the constitutionality of teaching the Intelligent Design hypothesis in public schools in the U.S. The Intelligent Design hypothesis is primarily a response to and critique of the theory of evolution by natural selection, which was first elaborated by Charles Darwin. This paper also focuses on the metaphysical claims of Intelligent Design.
