ABSTRACT
The article offers updates on NZ Wood, the pan-industry programme aimed at promoting greater use of wood in New Zealand. Research has been undertaken by BRANZ on behalf of NZ Wood regarding the need for the promotional campaign, with wood's share of the building materials market declining since 2000. Members of the founding industry bodies of NZ Wood will be invited to sign up as partners to the programme. Highway billboards on forestry-owned land will be constructed by NZ Wood, taking its distinctive message out to the woodland.
