ABSTRACT
The article provides a summary of the political, economic and business risk ratings for the Czech Republic. It is reported that the U.S. missile defence shield remains the most high-profile political issue facing the Czech Republic. The country's short-term political rating remains at 70.6 as of June 2008. In the economic side, a moderation in price growth is reportedly occurring, and the improvement in the headline inflation figure reflects a slowing of food price inflation.
