ABSTRACT
The article features jeweler Helen Banes and her unique neckpieces. Banes create her neckpieces using the technique of tapestry needleweaving. She combines beads and fibers along with precious artifacts and other perforated items to her woven neckpiece by stringing the materials on the warp threads after the weaving is completed. Photographs of several neckpieces made by Banes are presented.
