ABSTRACT
The article profiles Turnhout, Belgium-based jeweler Karen Hendrix, honorable mention at the 1984 Ornament Jewelry International Competition. Hendrix studied graphic arts in Turnhout, where she also taught jewelry in evening classes. She studied jewelry at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp. She is working in Paris with Ikuo, a designer-manufacturer of fashion jewelry.
