The article presents information on strategies involved in the management of a large law firm in the U.S. The 2008 client advisory published by the law firm consultant group Hildebrandt International and Citi Private Bank informs that in a slumping economy large firms with expanded overseas practices are weathering the tempest. The study is considered to have found evidence of a direct correlation between financial performance and the percentage of lawyers working internationally. It is suggested that for a large law firm, keeping all the lawyers in U.S. offices is not advisable.
