ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the mystery surrounding the Shroud of Turin, also known as the "Holy Shroud." The Shroud of Turin was believed to have been the cloth in which Jesus Christ was buried. It is believed by many that the holy cloth bore an image of his entire body. In 1389, when the shroud was first exhibited, it was disavowed by the local bishop saying that the artist who had faked it was known. It is stated to be a mystery how knight Geoffrey de Charny brought the cloth to Lirey, France.
