The article discusses the policies governing the management of electronic waste (e-waste) from devices which include computers, telephones, and printers in the U.S. Several e-waste bills were pursued in the Congress which include the National Computer Recycling Act by Michael Thompson and Electronic Waste Recycling Act by Assemblyman Reed Gusciora. Company e-waste policies include choosing products with few toxic, using recycled materials and using minimal packaging.
