ABSTRACT
The article discusses the "Teaching Library" coming to fruition at the university library at Breisgau, Germany. The concept, which originated at the University of California, Berkeley, involves training students and researchers in the ability to seek information, select it, and evaluate it. The Teaching Library also involves learning events at the library through eLearning offerings and advisement on information and media competencies.
