ABSTRACT
This article discusses theoretical analysis and investigations into femoroacetabular impingement as a mechanism of hip pain and osteoarthritis. The article further discusses early screenings for developmental dysplasia of the hip, osteonecrosis of the femoral head, and lower extremity deformities such as limb-length discrepancy and Blount disease.
