ABSTRACT
The article discusses glass beads in Venice and Murano, Italy. Constantini Beads in Murano, Italy was founded in 1897 by Dr. Dario Constantini's grandfather. Constantini manufactures hot tumbling beads from canes. They fill the bead with sand and gypsum so that they can keep the perforation of the bead from collapsing.
