ABSTRACT
The article discusses a collection of ancient gold earrings. The earrings are dated from the 3rd millennium B.C. to 1300 A.D. and were found in the Gilan province in Iran. They contain a high karat gold and display a style of granulation wire wrapping as well as a chain technique of soldering. The shape of the earrings is aesthetically simple.
