ABSTRACT
The article presents a clinical case analysis for a 71-year-old female patient with loss of right-sided vision and cognitive deficits. On the basis of clinical history and examinations, the patient's symptoms were diagnosed to be suggestive of posterior circulation ischemia. The patient was given aspirin while in the emergency department and was managed with intravenous recombinant tissue-type plasminogen activator.
