Verizon Teases Summer HD-Programming Splash

The article reports on the move of Verizon to add more than 60 channels to the FiOS Television (TV) lineup in 2008 in the U.S. The high-definition (HD) offerings of FiOS TV will range from 52-65 channels depending on market. Verizon also plans to offer 150 linear HD channels by the end of 2008. Furthermore, the channels would include Lifetime, Animal Planet and Science Channel. The channels will be added region by region which will start in July.
