ABSTRACT
The article considers the impact of the Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) regulations on small and medium-sized enterprises (SME). According to worldwide consulting and research firm Kline, several SME selling in the European Union (EU) could be caught unprepared by the REACH regulations. The purpose of the REACH regulations is to manage and control the risks to human health and the environment from the use of chemicals.
