ABSTRACT
The article reports that Ikea, Swedish home furnishings industry has grabbed the second spot in the top 10 fastest-growing furniture store list for 2007 in the U.S. It is noted that the furniture industry showed up in the list of three of five measurements, used to determine the fastest-growing stores of 2007. The company has been included due to its strong performance, with 31 U.S. stores and $1.79 billion furniture, bedding and accessories sales.
