ABSTRACT
The article reports on the proposed amendments to the National NOW Bylaws which were presented at the January 2008 National Board meeting. In the Article IV Section 1 of the Bylaws, members in a given state, county, municipality or metropolitan area are encouraged to establish a chapter. The proposed amendment states that members may also join or establish virtual chapters that are not tied to a certain geographic location. The article also presents a proposed amendment for Section 2 of Article IV.
