ABSTRACT
This section presents news briefs related to the energy sector. The Polish energy regulator warned that capacity shortages could trigger blackouts in urban areas in summer 2008. Belgian energy regulator CREG blamed gas grid operator Fluxys for the congestion problems on the Franco-Belgian border.
