ABSTRACT
The article presents information related to different golf shots. It informs that using spin to stop shots isn't as effective as a golfer might think, and many factors have to be in his favor to pull it off. It is stated that research with mid-handicaps shows that the dead-hands chip is 35% more effective at leaving shorter putts than pinched pitches, and up to 150% more effective than flops from the same distance. A graph of short golf shots is presented.
