The article focuses on the significance of digital technology on library community in Canada. Changes in the digital information technology is described as the most challenging event that occurred in the industry. The changes include the concentration of both ownership and globalization, centralization/decentralization and open access to presentations. It also discusses other issues such as literacy expansion, publishing industry and copyright market.
