ABSTRACT
The article reports on the early requiem for a venerable piece of cable hardware that was offered by the chairman and chief executive officer of Panasonic Corp. of North America during the 2008 Cable Show in New Orleans. According to Gustave Hauser, the chairman and chief executive officer of Warner Cable Communications, they intend to introduce the nation's most advanced cable system in Columbus.
