Many major memory suppliers out of top 20 semi supplier ranking: IC Insights

The article presents a report by Scottsdale, Arizona market research company IC Insights Inc., which states that the total sales of the top 20 semiconductor suppliers displayed an 11 percent increase. IC noted that although the top four ranked companies remained the same, there were a number of changes in the ranking as compared to their full-year 2007 positions. Qualcomm Inc., Broadcom Corp. made the biggest leaps, while NXP showed the biggest decline.
