ABSTRACT
The article reports that SAF-Holland has acquired the product line of Austin-Westran which concerns the landing leg support line. Under the deal, SAF-Holland has obtained the China-based production operation of Austin-Westran which allows the former to expand its presence in the third-largest and fastest-growing market for commercial vehicles. It adds that the acquisition will enable SAF-Holland to provide larger volumes of truck and trailer components. The China-based plant possesses an annual production capacity of around 150,000 pairs.
