ABSTRACT
The article focuses on a published article wherein Charles Fitzpatrick, a friend and law partner of the late attorney Joseph Egan, recalled Egan's tow and a half-year battle with stomach cancer and some of the people Egan met along the way. After a surgery in early 2006, Egan walked around his hospital for exercise, striking up a friendship with a young woman and fellow cancer patient. After Egan's release from hospital, he was told that the stranger he had befriended and who has died was Dana Reeve, the wife of the late actor Christopher Reeve.
