ABSTRACT
The article focuses on 10 randomized controlled trials (RCTs) investigating how does inhaled corticosteroids (ICSs) combined with long-acting beta-agonists (LABAs) compare with LABAs alone in patients with stable chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Trials found out that combined ICSs plus LABAs reduce exacerbations more than LABAs alone in patients with stable COPD.
