ABSTRACT
The article reports on the launch of a Website by Prepare Stay Defend (PSD), a California nonprofit organization to help protect homeowners against wildfires in the U.S. PSD with the site, www.prepare-stay-defend.org hopes to make images of ill-prepared homeowners standing on rooftops dressed in shorts and T-shirts while spraying water with a trickling garden hose a thing of the past. Federal courses administered to professional wildland firefighters will be offered by the site.
