ABSTRACT
The article reports on the SEDASYS system, an improved sedation which is better than the current use of a painkilling bouls or opioid injection. Mike Gustafson, executive director of Ethicon Endo-Surgery in Cincinnati, states that the company filed pre-market approval of the sedation system to the Food and Drug Administration. SEDASYS is billed as the first computer-assisted personal sedation system which is primarily targeting colonoscopy.
