ABSTRACT
The article reports that Australian investors are discovering just how exposed listed infrastructure funds can be in a market downturn. The global credit crisis has ended the revaluation game that allowed listed infrastructure funds to gear up their balance sheets and pay out the gains through higher dividends. Investors are now shifting their investments to the unlisted sector.
