ABSTRACT
The article reports on the settlement and dismissal of the lawsuit and countersuit between former retailer Fineman Furniture and liquidator Planned Furniture Promotions (PFP) in New York. Both companies refused to comment on the terms of the settlement. Fineman and its president, Seymour Fineman sued PFP for misconduct during the store's closing sale and auction and PFP countersued, denying the charges.
