ABSTRACT
The article reports on the restriction of right to worship faced by Christian Palestinians in Bethany during Palm Sunday procession due to checkpoint and border permits enforced by Israel at the separation wall in the West Bank on March 16, 2008. It was organized by the Siraj Center for Holy Land Studies and started from the Lazarus' Tomb to the Bethany Gate. The border policemen ordered the group to move back the procession away from the checkpoint. The village people said that the wall has prevented them to seek services in Jerusalem.
