ABSTRACT
The article presents an outlook on the political risk, economic risk and business environment in Lithuania for 2008. The relations of Lithuania with the Russian government is expected to remain tense as Russia intends to build a nuclear power plant in the Kaliningrad region. It is viewed that the proposed increase in corporate tax rate will not be supported by the coalition government. Exports of Lithuania, on the other hand, is projected to become less competitive due to several factors.
