ABSTRACT
The article presents an outlook on the political risk, economic risk and business environment in Latvia for 2008. It is viewed that the changes to the country's constitution will impact its political stability. Inflation rate, on the other hand, is projected to slow down in the second half of the year. The export promotion plan of the government is predicted to affect its medium-term real convergence prospect.
