ABSTRACT
The article presents an outlook on the political risk, economic risk and business environment in Poland for 2008. Financial aid from the European Union is deemed important to the road expansion plan of the Polish government ahead of the 2012 UEFA games. The monetary policy by the National Bank of Poland, on the other hand, is projected to impact inflation. The decision by the energy regulatory office of Poland to increase oil prices has both an advantage and disadvantage.
