This article reports on the demand for futurists who provide new ideas and predicts trends, in the advertising industry. Young and Rubicam Advertising has re-launched its Brand Futures Group as the Intelligence Factory. GSD&M has established its Futures Lab to help clients with brand visioneering, repositioning and future mapping. Several agencies that have futurists departments are Young and Rubicam and TBWA/Chiat/Day.
