The article reports on the plan of the Association of National Advertisers (ANA) to stop its practice of having sponsors program the agenda for its annual meetings. The controversy is associated with the ANA practice of charging media companies $100,000 per day to sponsor sessions. ANA plans to reassert its control over the agenda of its meeting in Laguna Niguel, California on October 13, 2000.
