ABSTRACT
The article reports on the growth of rating for Crown Media Inc., parent of Hallmark Channel in the U.S. The company reported an increase revenue of $70.6 million in the first quarter of 2008 and the rating of Hallmark continued to remain strong in the top 10 on advertisement-supported cable networks for the 22nd consecutive month in March 2008. Crown chief executive officer Henry Schleiff states that the current scatter-market cost-per-thousand pricing is 71% above from the 2007 upfront.
