ABSTRACT
The article reports on the benefits of cashless transations to foodservice operators. The benefits are many, say cashless advocates, from labor savings to increased revenue. Steven Cerullo, director of foodservice for Geisinger Health System in Danville, Pennsylvania, says they saw their average check increase 8 to 10 percent. Geisinger implemented a cashless system two years ago, and recently added one at two sister hospitals and a pharmacy.
