ABSTRACT
The article reports on the benefits that can be gained by participating stores in the Preferred Retailer Program of the National Home Furnishing Association (NHFA) and the Home and Garden Television (HGTV) in Paradise Island, Bahamas. According to NHFA and HGTV, participating stores will gain exposure to HGTV watchers and Web visitors for a fraction of a usual advertising budget. NHFA President Doug Kays said that the program is a response need for an awareness campaign of the industry.
