ABSTRACT
Reports that companies that won the digital-terrestrial-TV (DTT) licenses from the Finnish government are delaying introduction of the service and ditching a plan that would have had DTT bow concurrently with the Summer Olympic Games in September 2000. Plans of state broadcaster YLE to begin DTT test transmissions in fall; Self-imposed deadline for private television companies to start full-time programming.
