Leoni, Valeo join rush into Russia

The article deals with the plan of Valeo and Leoni to start production in Russia which is forecast to top 3 million new-car sales this 2008. The country is set to be Europe's largest market by 2012 if current growth continues. According to Lars Holmqvist of the European Association of Automotive Suppliers (CLEPA), other companies are in the process of establishing activities in Russia including Plastic Omnium which will have a Russian plant this year.
