ABSTRACT
The article offers information on the opening of several film festivals in 2008 in the U.S. It includes the San Francisco Frozen Film Festival in July where it will bring independent filmmakers and musicians to the San Francisco Bay Area. Another is the 17th Woods Hole Film Festival on July 26 to August 2, considered as one of the premiere independent film fest in New England. Also presented is the 11th Cine Las Americas International Film Festival on April 23 to May 1 in Austin, Texas.
