ABSTRACT
The article offers news briefs related to the marine research and development in the U.S. A new study shows that certain marine organisms are not releasing oxygen or taking carbon dioxide. The researchers from the University of California found out that the ocean odor dimethylsulfoniopropionate (DMSP) can link reef fish to its foods. A new modeling approach has been developed by the scientists to be used in estimating sea ice thickness.
