ABSTRACT
The article reveals that there was a cautious approach to dairy buying at Gisburn Auction Mart's April Show and Sale in England in 2008. Topping the sale was Alan Parkinson, with his first prize freshly calved cow selling to N. W. Coulthurst and Son. Next best was David Graveston, with his freshly calved heifer. Colin Booth won the champion rosette with a freshly calved heifer sired by Tcet Lyster out of the dam Whitecarr Progress Dot.
