ABSTRACT
The article reports on the sale by property agent Howkins & Harrison of a 235-acre Leicestershire dairy unit the firm's Jeff Paybody says is one of the best in England. Ridgefield Farm at Woodhouse Eaves includes a state-of-the-art dairy parlour and buildings that will seriously whet the appetite of all milk producers. Most of the 78,000 square feet of buildings were designed and built from scratch by successful businessman and pedigree Holstein breeder John Barker.
