ABSTRACT
The article discusses a research project of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development of Great Britain which seeks to shed light on the impact of smart job design on employee performance and well-being. The research was launched in response to the growing distortion of organizational hierarchies. The research will investigate if organizations are getting the best value from smart job design, its level of acceptability and adaptation of a coherent alternative philosophy above outdated ways of thinking about management.
