Accuride enters joint venture with Benecor

The entry cites that the two companies have entered into a joint venture in response to the growing need of truck and engine manufacturers to gain easy access to DEF (UREA) as a central operating fluid for emissions standards compliance. In line with this, manufacturers have adopted selective catalytic reduction (SCR) that requires DEF (UREA) for eliminating nitrogen oxide emissions from diesel engines.
