The article features several companies included in the Global 2,000 list that have winery business. Leucadia National acquired winery Pine Ridge, supposedly because Chairman Ian Cumming knew the winery's founder. Pine Ridge unveiled Fortis, a cabernet sauvignon blend of grapes from five of Napa's viticultural areas. AXA Millésimes is a wine investment arm Jean-Michel Cazes headed until his retirement, which has amassed flagship wineries in roll a number of regions.
