ABSTRACT
The article offers U.S. news briefs related to science as of April 1967. A total of $7.5 million worth of grant will be given by the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation to strengthen science programs in 20 U.S. liberal arts colleges. The Department of the Interior has established an Office of Ecology with John L. Buckly as director. Joseph J. Comer was elected president of the Electron Microscopy Society of America.
