ABSTRACT
The article covers issues on U.S. politics as of May 5, 2008. About 64.1% of Ohioans believe Democrats should win the 2008 presidential election and 55.8% of Republicans believe that Democrats will carry Ohio in November, based on a poll conducted by the Ray C. Bliss Institute of Applied Politics at the University of Akron. The author clarifies that Minnesota has chosen a Democratic presidential candidate in 1984 and that the last time it favored a Republican was in 1972.
