ABSTRACT

The article provides an overview of the threat posed by terrorism to Europe and Eurasia in 2007. European countries continued to improve their capabilities to counter the terrorist threat, foiled several significant terrorist plots, and continued to prosecute and jail terrorist suspects. European nations continued to work in close partnership with the U.S. against a terrorist threat.
